Week in Review, June 30, 2012

The theme of this week could be All Archer & Armstrong All The Time. Fred Van Lente is an interview machine, and the interviews were seasoned with plenty of Archer & Armstrong preview pages.

Monday:

Tuesday:

  • Most Popular: Fred Van Lente is a popular man. And for good reason. Have you read his comics? OH! Entertainment has an interview with Fred Van Lente
  • Retro Stuff: CBR has a retro-review of the Harbinger: The Beginning hardcover book. It’s a good review, though they incorrectly give it a rating of 3 out of 5. Add 1.9 to their score and it’s a little more accurate.
  • Panel Pals has an interview with Rob Venditti. Just jump to minute 29 to get to the interview.

Wednesday:

New Comic Wednesday! What are you picking up at your shop?

  • Digi-Ninjak: Bloodshot #7 became available on Comixology – this issue is the first full appearance of Ninjak, and the first time we see Ninjak in his glorious purple and gold costume

Thursday:

Friday:

So, you see, Sean’s on vacation in Cabo right now, so the latest Valiant Comics news isn’t exactly at the forefront of his mind. In fact, I believe your valiant editor is relaxing in a pool. And also at a bar. Because, you see, this pool has a bar in it. Enjoy all your non-bar pools in America!

Perhaps there was an amazing announcement on Friday, or a sweet interview, or awesome preview pages for an upcoming book. You’re gonna have to figure it out for yourself this week though. Viva Mexico Margaritas!
