Matt Waite joins us at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the 8-bit variant covers which he created for Valiant. He is the artist for all of the first wave of 8-bit covers, plus several of the second wave of 8-bit covers, coming soon.

He discusses the origin of the covers, how he got the gig, how he went about creating the covers. We also discuss some of his other work doing other 8-bit covers for other companies, a trend that was spearheaded by the Valiant covers.
