Baltimore comic con sounds like a big deal from a Valiant perspective, will there be any updates on this site?

We’ve got one of our OTV “field crew” at Baltimore this weekend, so hopefully we’ll have some updates. It all depends on time, time, and time.

Sean, how many comics do you buy per month? What’s the % breakdown between DC, Marvel, Valiant etc? I’ve only recently got back into the comic scene (intrigued by the re-launch), from the outside DC and Marvel universes seem a complicated mess…thoughts?

Sean comments:
I buy about 15-20 books a month. I don’t buy any Marvel or DC, except that I decided to get all of the Before Watchmen stuff.
I buy all the Valiant (obviously), and the rest is Image, IDW, Boom, and stuff like that. Other than the Valiant books, I buy Saga, Manhattan Projects, danger Club, Higher Earth, Hypernaturals, Steed and Peel, Godzilla, and a few other titles I can’t remember.
I’m not really interested in any of the Marvel/DC universe stuff. I check out titles digitally every now and then, especially when they are on sale, but for the most part, I avoid the big 2.
I think the most interesting stuff is the creator owned stuff coming from Image, and the better types coming from other smaller publishers.

Image is good now? Am I in an alternate universe? Just kidding, things have changed since 2000! Yeah, the before Watchman stuff does look tempting.
Cheers Sean

Eternal warrior announcement is interesting..haven’t we already established Gilad is dead (in A&A #1)?

Tony Soldo (@Tony_Soldo) comments:
Gilad made a cameo in X-O Manowar #1.

I’ve re-read A&A #1 and realise now that activating the Boon would have brought Gilad back to life. Can’t see Gilad in X-O though? What page?

Thanks Tony, thats interesting. I agree with the comments that the guy getting speared looks like he has a beard…but nevertheless it adds to the intrigue!

Sean comments:
Yeah, the comments on that article are correct. I didn’t get it all completely right.
I think we can surmise from this announcement that Eternal Warrior wasn’t *dead* dead in the first few pages of Archer & Armstrong #1, and that he was just *almost* dead.
