Delinquents #1 came out this week, and nobody throws a release party like Ed at Collector’s Paradise in Pasadena, California. There was a party with food, drinks, plenty of comics, and of course, James Asmus himself.
James took a break from the signing to record this episode with us, recorded in Collector’s Paradise, to talk about Quantum & Woody, Delinquents, and a whole lot more.
We spent a while looking back at the 13 issues of Quantum & Woody that lead up to this crossover, and the things that inspired James, the work he did with his collaborators, and his approach to telling the character’s stories.
We also talk about Delinquents #1 itself, and a lot of the inspirations for the various parts of the story, including the Hobo Code, Mondo Staino, the hobo amusement park, the map, and a whole lot more.
Last of all, if you are looking for a set of the ass-map store variants, Ed has both of the ass map store variants for Delinquents #1 available. Ed is a major supporter of Valiant Comics, and is a great person to go to for these great variants.
