Valiantfans.com has served as a hub for Valiant Fandom through both the lean times and strong times. Greg, the proprieter of ValiantFans.com joins us to talk about the history of the fandom.
Valiantfans.com, and the Valiant Fans Forum, has served as a hub for Valiant Fandom for nearly as long as the internet has existed. The site has been important to all of the hosts of OTV, and has served as a “home base” for all of us over the years.
Greg Holland is responsible for creating and maintaining Valiant Fans. We invited him on to the show to talk about the history of the website, and how the fandom for Valiant Comics has changed and evolved over the years.
Valiant Comics has evolved and changed over the years, from the original Valiant Comics, to the Acclaim years, to the lean years in the 2000s when nothing was being published, to now, as we’ve had two years of great new Valiant books.
We talk about the origin of the site, and why and how Greg went about getting it up and running, and the many ways that the message board has evolved over the years. We also talk about the reason that Valiant has such strong fans, and such strong staying power, and what it means to be a fan of Valiant.
Tune in to this one, and celebrate the many years of great times as Valiant Fans.
