We review Unity #21 and X-O Manowar #39 in this week’s VCR. The Warmonger continues her plans, and Aric gets in the middle of an explosive situation. It’s another spoiler filled week of Valiant Comics discussion.

The Warmonger keeps up her plan to take out the Unity team, but we find out that our heroes may not be as ill-prepared as we thought. We’ve been a bit torn about this story arc all along, and this issue improves the story for some of us, but declines a bit for others. Let’s also remember that this issue also features Afro-Bloodshot in rare form. That part was great no matter what you think.

The Vine show up and crash the Visigoth party in X-O Manowar, and everything seems to be going ok, until that one guy does that one thing. We discuss this powder keg party, and all our players in it. We also talk about the military’s fancy new jets, and Aric’s strange eyes.

It’s another spoiler filled discussion, so read the books before you listen if you don’t want to be spoiled.
